MovinUp

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information MovinUp uses, why we use it, and the choices you have when you use our website and workspace.

Last updated 24 September 2026

What we collect

  • Account information you provide, such as your email address and authentication details.
  • Business information and goals you choose to provide to MovinUp.
  • Publicly available business information that MovinUp analyses to build business context, Action Plans, Priorities, Steps and execution guidance.
  • Basic product usage and technical information used to understand whether the service works and where users experience friction.
  • Payment status and transaction references needed to provide paid features. Card details are handled by our payment provider rather than stored by MovinUp.
  • When MovinUp Community is available, an account created from the reviewed-business flow also receives a Community membership. We also process the profile-visibility and representation choices you make, business-profile fields approved for publication, connection requests, separately authorised business contact details, blocks, reports and moderation records.

How we use information

  • To identify the business you want to analyse and build your workspace.
  • To generate, save and improve your business context, Action Plans, Priorities, Steps and next-step guidance.
  • To operate accounts, payments, support, security and product analytics.
  • To diagnose errors, prevent abuse and improve the reliability of the service.
  • When Community is enabled, to provide business discovery and connections, enforce your blocking choices, release only authorised contact details after an accepted connection, and review safety or representation reports.

MovinUp Community

  • Community membership is included with an eligible MovinUp account. Business-profile visibility is controlled separately: Public is presented as the default during account creation, and you can choose Private instead. If you say you do not represent the business, MovinUp keeps that business profile private and does not claim or publish it on your behalf.
  • Only the business fields shown for the Community profile and approved for publication are intended for public display. Your Action Plan, Goals, investment information and private workspace data are not Community profile fields.
  • Your MovinUp account email is not automatically shared with another business. A business contact is shared only if you separately authorise a business email or secure contact link, and only after a connection is accepted.
  • You can unpublish the public business profile and separately revoke Community contact sharing. Unpublishing a profile does not by itself revoke a contact that you separately authorised for already accepted connections.
  • Community profiles are self-declared by the account using them and are not an independent verification by MovinUp. Reports, representation disputes and moderation records may be retained as reasonably needed to investigate safety, abuse or ownership issues.
  • When public indexing is enabled, a published Community profile may be discoverable through search engines. After a profile is unpublished, third-party search engines or caches may take additional time to update.

AI and service providers

  • MovinUp uses software and AI service providers to operate the product. Information may be processed by providers that support hosting, authentication, analytics, payments and AI functionality.
  • Some processing may occur outside Australia depending on where those providers operate. We aim to share only the information reasonably needed to provide the service.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We do not ask for access to private business systems unless a future feature clearly requests it and you choose to provide access.
  • Public business evidence and information you personally confirm are kept conceptually separate so the product can show what came from public sources and what came from you.

Retention and security

  • We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, maintain your workspace, meet legal obligations and resolve disputes.
  • We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

  • You can permanently delete your MovinUp account from Account → Delete account, or through our dedicated account-deletion page. This removes the account and associated workspace data, subject to information that must be retained for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention or dispute purposes.
  • You may contact us to ask about access or correction of information associated with your account. You can stop using the service at any time and may choose not to provide optional business information.
  • When Community is available, you can make your business profile private, edit the approved public fields, revoke authorised contact sharing, disconnect or block businesses, and report a profile or contact issue. If you state that you do not represent the business, the business is not published or claimed by you.

Contact

  • For privacy questions or requests, use the MovinUp contact page. We may update this policy as the product changes, and the latest version will be published here.
